You search for your emergency contacts by clicking on Select Contact, then the Phone Tree symbol which is located under your profile photo. The dropdown will display multiple options with the Phone Tree being at the top. Once pressed, it takesa few seconds to display your contact with the option to navigate to their present location, share your location, message or call.
You can check in from 15 minutes from the current time,this activates your countdown timer and if you do not arrive at your location the alert will be sent to your emergency contacts via SMS and email.
If you activate Stand-To by pressing on the button for 5 seconds, Activate Locate will message your emergency contacts and state “User is concerned please monitor”. Promptly press and hold again for 5 seconds so that you can stop your alert from being deployed.
Should you need to escalate this process of being concerned, simply tap 3 times on the button to activate the SOS function. In-app alerts are displayed on your emergency contacts phones (those subscribed to Activate Locate) which are supported by SMS and email messages to your emergency contacts with or without the application.
Emergency servicesare NOT notified in the Stand-To function
Activate the SOS Alarm by three or more presses of the button. After a short countdown of 12 seconds, the built-in microphone will record 2 minutes of voice which is sent to your emergency contacts with your live location. The APP will instantly close, lock and operate in stealth mode to safeguard the user. In-app alerts are displayed on your emergency contacts phones (those subscribed to Activate Locate) which are supported by SMS and email messages. To cancel this function simply enter your disarm pin.
If you have been compromised (i.e. Kidnap for Ransom and the application has been found), enter the wrong code before entering the correct one. This will notify your emergency contacts and first responders that you have been compromised.
Our Active Response Cell calls you to determine if there is an emergency. Your emergencycontacts and our Active Response Cell are the ones who call first responders if they cannot speak with you to verify your safety.

Should your phone be damaged or shut down during the SOS sequence the system will still function as if you have activated an alert. Emergency responders will be deployed to your last GPS location. The only way to disarm/unlock the App is to enter your personal disarm pin. If you forget this, then you must contact support@activatelocate.com
The Activate Locate Concept of Operations (CONOPS) has been proven to save lives. We need specific information to identify you in case of an emergency situation. We do NOT share this information unless authorised by yourself or emergency contacts.
IT IS HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED to have a minimum of 4emergency contactswhich has been proven to be necessary should there be a rapid escalation in an incident where you need urgent support.
After the FREE trial period of 7 days, will I automatically be charged for a subscription?
After your trial or subscription expires, the App will ask you if you would like to extend or re-new your subscription. After you purchase your first renewal, the charge will then become auto-renew.
Does theAPP work anywhere?
Activate Locate will work anywhere where there is a mobile data connection. We use location based services (LBS) on your phone as well as triangulation services from mobile carriers to observe and support any alert from your phone.
Upon the SOS activation, you were unable to enter your disarm pin because you were in danger. The Active Response Cellcould not reach you nor verify your safety with your designated emergency contacts. If you are in danger or do not answer when called, we contact first responders and direct them to your exact location based upon your GPS coordinates which are obtained through the location services on your phone. Your profile information will be usedto provide emergency responders a detailed description of you in order to easily locate your whereabouts.
When I attempt to sign in it says, "The email address and/or telephone number entered is incorrect."
This means that you are using the wrong email or phone number from a previous installation. Please verify these details. If you continue to encounter issues, send an email to support@activatelocate.com with your full name, email address, and phone number. We will revert back to you with the correct information to login with.
